Cutting capacity
A longer bar alone does not prove suitability. Request the manufacturer's intended application and approved bar-and-chain combinations, then review the proposed assembly against the buyer's task and operator requirements.
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements.
Terra Ledger Sourcing / US business purchasing
Independent sourcing partner for importers, distributors and agricultural maintenance buyers. Share the cutting task, power requirements and order quantity to request comparable factory quotes.
Request Factory QuotesDocuments to request, tied to the quoted model.
Document names are purchasing checks, not Terra Ledger Sourcing certifications. A supplier reply should identify which files apply to the exact gas chainsaw offered; a generic catalog or unrelated certificate cannot confirm the requested configuration.
01 / Make the request comparable
Start with the work instead of a model nickname. List the timber or vegetation, intended cutting capacity and operating conditions. Ask suppliers to keep these requirements unchanged and identify alternatives on a separate line.
| Tool and cutting configuration | |
|---|---|
| Form and task | Rear handle or top handle; orchard maintenance, land management or distributor assortment; expected wood diameter and work pattern. |
| Cutting assembly | Bar length in inches or cm, chain pitch, gauge and drive-link count; compatible replacement bar and chain references. |
| Power and commercial scope | |
| Power platform | Engine displacement and rated output for gas; nominal voltage, battery capacity, battery count and charger input for a cordless alternative. |
| Quantity and destination | Number of units or sets, contents of each set, spare parts, packing, US delivery location and requested seasonal delivery date. |
02 / Read the differences
A longer bar alone does not prove suitability. Request the manufacturer's intended application and approved bar-and-chain combinations, then review the proposed assembly against the buyer's task and operator requirements.
Gas and battery options change refueling, charging and spare-kit planning. Keep work duration, access to charging power and transport arrangements visible; do not treat nominal voltage or engine size as a direct cutting-performance comparison.
Compare replacement chains, bars, service parts, packaging and support terms with the initial unit price. Ask what the quote excludes before comparing equipment, freight, taxes and procurement service costs on a common basis.
03 / Procurement checkpoints
This is a sourcing sequence, not a record of completed projects. MOQ, samples, supplier availability and lead time remain subject to the responses received for your order.
Record tool form, cutting capacity, materials, power platform, pack unit and quantity. Include optional budget, currency and whether it covers one unit or the entire order.
Ask the factory to name the offered configuration, sample charge, MOQ, production basis, packing and trade terms. A lead-time estimate needs a starting condition and must distinguish production from transport.
Review documents and a sample or inspection scope where appropriate. Record mismatches, substitute components, spare-parts terms and responsibilities in writing before any purchase commitment.
A clear starting point
Choose from the chainsaw inquiry options or describe a configuration. An optional supplier preference helps frame cost, finish, customization and service trade-offs; it is not a supplier rating.
